Heyo! How ya doin frend? I’ve been needing some soft stuff, so how about some Melli, Adaman, and Ingo with a reader that fairy types?
Hi hi, I've been existing, thank you for asking about my wellbeing ;;
I can do something soft and gentle that has to do with raising, caring for, and understanding the not well documented pseudo-mythical Fairy type in Hisui.
Back then, the fairy type had technically not been discovered, right? Given its lack of presence in the modern day-- so as a blanket categorization they're considered whimsical and mysterious creatures often confused with other typings? I could see each wielder listed above having an interest in fae and spirit like Pokemon themselves. I was unsure if you wanted these separated or not, but the imagines I wrote sort of include all three of them at the same time. (This takes place post-game.) If you'd like more of this or would prefer me to focus on a specific aspect of anything written here, just send out a request and I'll oblige!
.
.
Given your express abundance of free time and penchant for getting involved with strange plots and creatures beyond current understanding, you've become the go-to researcher of the strange and mysterious fae creatures that are notoriously the most difficult to document given their reclusive, distrustful, independent natures.
Living semi-nomadically, your expeditions sometimes stretch the length of months, which has made you nearly as elusive as the Pokemon you've come to document. You might pass through a clan settlement or budding village on rare occasions, particularly for festivals. Often times you and your companions are celebrated through merry drink and cheers as well as traditional dance, and the people have even gone as far as to put up a statue combining the two "Almighty Sinnohs" as a permanent and everlasting symbol of union amongst all inhabitants of the land. You've expressed that you'd rather not be celebrated as anything that you weren't, so most times tales of your deeds were left vague and photos or portraits of you were scarce. But still, the people remembered who you were and that was far more than enough for you.
Outside of that, however, your lifestyle of choice even means living amongst pods of wild Pokemon at times-- eating and sleeping beside them. In order to really understand their behaviors, this is crucial to your work, though a lot of it is more a personal matter.
If anything, the only reason you still survey at the end of the day is more to repay the Galaxy Team for providing you living quarters, despite your patchy past. Otherwise, your work of choice is simply for your own enjoyment as you hardly accept requests or guided missions anymore. The secret to your unprecedented success is that you naturally bond well with the creatures of the wild, including the fae and spirits that hail from different planes of existence. Paired with the Massive Mass Outbreak phenomena which have only slightly died down in more recent years, the local populations of fae have been unprecedentedly high as more and more have come out of hiding, compelled by the strange storms. The only fae creature you currently keep in your residence that's not native to Hisui would be the Keokeo placed in your care by an Alolan migrant a while back. In recent news, a library has been established within the Village, largely in part of anonymous donations and your own contributions, information has become easy to keep record of as well as relatively more common access, though restrictions are still limited to members of the Galaxy Team and the few scholars who've traveled abroad in more recent years. Now that your mind had dwelled back to the Village of Jubilife, your thoughts wandered to Ingo. He'd been doing well for himself last you heard, given his creation of the trainer school. He was still longing for home, and in large hoping to return when the time was right, but he's decided to stay for the time being, having a sense of belonging in these lands. He's still Warden to Sneasler, and she's ever so tenacious, always shredding his replacement sets of both his signature hat and coat to the point he has to order new ones every few months. It's not all her doing though, now that she's had a brood of heirs that are just as eager to use him as a scratching post, something you once got to witness for yourself during an accidental run-in that took place in the Highlands. Ingo is much like you, in fact one could argue he's the most like you out of everyone who wields Pokemon in battle. He's got an impressive collection of companions himself, amongst them you've met a Togekiss with reverted colors as if someone had taken the reflection of a normal Togekiss and made it slightly off-color.
Many if not all of his Pokemon are competitive-worthy, and they've given you quite the run for your money a few times. Speaking of the Highlands, Melli's still there as well, tending to Electrode and the many Voltorb that make their home in the Celestica people's ruins. He's still completely full of himself, but he's grown in a way that as much as he's still quite the living reminder of the past, he's also uniquely new and charming in a way that only time could have allowed to develop. Though Clefairy are common in his area, he's often one to spout off about how he's just as good as you when it comes to finding the fae of the region. He's always picking fights and looking for a competition, always fishing for praise and recognition to whatever tourist or passerby comes to visit his new off-shooting village. Adaman let him take charge of the settlement, a decision that a few questioned at first, but Adaman himself has proven to have grown into a wonderful and strong leader, and no one could agree more than you that time has been wonderfully kind to him. He's really quite grown into himself nicely, and he's less spacey these days ironically. Sometimes he'll send out feelers using couriers that scour the various lands trying to follow leads as to your whereabouts, but it's rare that they reach you. He still tries anyway though it's proven widely ineffective given you sometimes even spend time in entirely different dimensional pockets. That is, you still explore the ever-fading Space-Time Distortions, looking for leads as to how to safely travel between Time and Space, not only for yourself but for your fellow stranded dimensional interloper as well. You still have not forgotten your promise to him, and you will walk the ends of the Earth before you even consider giving up. The question of travel has surfaced from time to time, now that Irida was off seeing the world herself. You haven't completely written it off, but you've been reluctant to leave the lands you've grown so fond of.
If that ever did happen, Adaman has expressed his interest in joining you for some time now that the people are less reliant on the old protectors of the region, and Ingo also agreed that his place would always be at your side for as long as you remained in this world. And, well, Melli would force his way along, attaching himself to both yours and Adaman's hips just as he's always done. As for why you haven't quite succeeded yet despite all of your continuous research, Arceus has made it clear that this is a mission it and its children will not directly assist you in, as once again you must prove your merit, even though you are under their protection forever and always. Though, it has hinted that the answer may not itself lie in Hisui, a lead you've been putting off making a definite decision on following out of wanting to stay just a little longer. The Lake Spirits have been fickle in this aspect as well, as they retain some amount of free will, yet are still obviously under the command and guidance of their creator and master. You're aware that the time you'll be forced to move on to more distant lands is fast approaching, but you try to savor the moments you still have, and cherish the very fond memories you have made alongside many friends in this land of Hisui.
